Employers Propose 3 Tier Wage System
June 11, 2007
Over the weekend, the employers indicated that they had given the seven Southern California Locals a proposal which eliminates the 2 tier system.
In actuality, their proposal included adding a 3rd tier to the wage system and would increase the progression steps from 7,800 hours to over 13,000 hours.
This proposal is totally unacceptable. Once again, the employers continue to distort the truth.
The locals are not interested in nearly doubling the progression steps and adding a 3rd tier to the wage system.
Stay strong, stay united, and stay informed.
